Privacy

Kitty 9 Lives is being prepared for release. Online accounts, purchases and advertising are not yet publicly available. The information below describes these features when they become available.

K9L Games operates Kitty 9 Lives. The initial release is in English for the United States. This policy explains device play and the online features offered when available in your version.

Age requirements

The game is intended for teens and adults aged 13 or older and does not offer a parental-consent account service.

Device play

Progress, coins, inventory, preferences and local scores are saved on your device. The game also keeps local recovery copies when you switch accounts. These local copies are separate from online account records. Free Play does not change Story progress or bank practice coins.

Online accounts and security

Connecting creates a game account identifier. If you add email recovery, Google Firebase Authentication processes your email address and sign-in credentials. Our game server receives authentication tokens, not your password. Firebase and its security services also process network information and app or device integrity signals to authenticate requests and prevent abuse.

Our server stores your chosen username, account identifiers, verified progress, coin balances, inventory, purchase benefits, scores and records of account actions. Your public leaderboard entry includes your username and score information. Your recovery email is not shown on the leaderboard.

Purchases

Apple or Google processes payments; K9L does not receive your payment-card details. We use transaction identifiers and purchase verification results to deliver coins, restore automatic-ad removal, prevent duplicate grants and handle refunds. Purchase records are associated with your game account.

Advertising

When ads are available, Google AdMob provides automatic ads between completed levels and optional rewarded videos in the Shop. Automatic ads are eligible after every two successful level completions, counted separately in Story and Free Play. The automatic-ad removal purchase stops those ads; optional videos remain available.

Our prepared integration requests non-personalized ads with restricted data processing and does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier. Android advertising-ID access is disabled. These settings do not eliminate all data collection: the ad provider may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, app or device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.

For a rewarded video, we send Google a game account identifier and a reward-request identifier so our server can verify the reward. Your email and password are not included in that reward request. We do not provide a separate chat, contact-upload feature or precise-location permission.

Reports and support

When you report a leaderboard entry, we record the reporting account, reported entry, selected reason and review outcome. Reports are not public. If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, verify account ownership and investigate problems. Do not send passwords, verification links or payment-card details.

Who processes information

Google Firebase and Google Cloud support account storage, authentication, security and server operations. Google AdMob handles advertising. Apple and Google handle their store payments and platform security checks. Support messages are handled through Gmail. Providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. US store availability does not mean every provider processes data only in the United States.

Your choices

Where Google offers a sale or sharing choice, your selection is recorded by Google. Allowing sharing does not turn on personalized ads in K9L: the current integration continues to request non-personalized ads with restricted data processing. Opting out does not stop all data processing needed to deliver ads, measure performance or prevent fraud.

You can use device play without connecting an online game account. In configured versions, Settings → Privacy provides the advertising choices available through Google. Profile provides account recovery and deletion. You can also contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information, or to ask us to review a privacy-request decision. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Applicable privacy rights and deadlines depend on your circumstances.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page before enabling online features or materially changing how we use information. The date above shows the latest revision.

Retention

Online account records remain while the account is active. After verified account deletion, the background cleanup removes authentication, online progress, wallet and inventory records, scores, usernames and associated reports. We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying the request. If an issue delays completion, we will explain the delay and handle the request under applicable requirements.

Hashed account, purchase and reward-event identifiers are retained without automatic expiry to prevent reuse of deleted identities, receipts or rewards. They are not copies of your playable account and are not used to restore deleted progress. They should not be assumed to be anonymous.

Our current Google Cloud logging settings retain ordinary operational logs for 30 days and required audit logs for 400 days. Deleting an account does not immediately erase these logs. Provider security records, backups and independent store records can have separate retention periods.

We delete routine support messages and attachments within 90 days after closing the case, except information needed for an unresolved dispute, security issue or legal obligation. Account deletion does not automatically clear the support inbox or copies on your devices. Contact us for help with those records.

Website

These support pages do not embed advertising or a separate analytics script. Hosting and email providers still process the network information needed to deliver pages and messages. The Contact support button opens your email app; the destination address is visible there.
